Located in Perth, Western Australia, Portable Scientific provide independent and up-to-date advice to help you purchase the best XRF for your application.
We also provide certified portable XRF training courses, licencing assistance, Standard Work Practices (SWPs), Radiation Management Plans (RMPs), Radiation Safety Protection Plans (RSPPs) and accessories for your handheld XRF.
Our Managing Director
Simon Bailey is well-known in the portable scientific instrumentation industry and has over 16 years’ experience with XRF in Geochem applications. His expertise in providing sales, training and services to portable XRF users throughout his career has resulted in him being considered one of the leading experts in handheld XRF. His aim is to continue to support his clients at all stages of the purchasing process, and to see portable XRF’s used in a way that provides maximum benefit to our clients.
Simon holds a Bachelor of Science in Physics from Curtin University with a career focus on Radiation Safety and Technical Sales. He is well known in the industry for his knowledge of handheld XRF, and for his ability to communicate complicated concepts to any audience. Whatever the application with portable XRF, Simon has the relevant experience and knowledge to assist.
